Preparing our communities for winter - a message from the National Public Health Service
Kia ora koutou,
The flu season officially began on 1 April. We thank everyone who has been part of the effort to deliver influenza immunisation.
We are reaching out to our health sector partners to ask for your support to increase our immunisation rates and to protect Aotearoa New Zealand from influenza and other vaccine-preventable illnesses this winter.
The attached letter has important information on immunisations to protect our communities this winter, and how you can support these efforts. We hope you find this useful.
Please distribute this information through your contacts and networks as relevant.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Ngā mihi nui,
Sandy Thambiah (she/her/ia)
