Winter wellness - collateral available on Dropbox
Kia ora colleagues,
With apologies for the inconvenience – you might have had trouble opening the below dropbox link sent to you last night. This is now fixed. Please feel free to share with your networks where relevant. Thanks for your patience.
Winter wellness logo
You may be aware the Ministry is encouraging DHBs and healthcare providers to promote ‘winter wellness’ amongst their communities - with a particular emphasis on 1 June as the first day of winter.
To this end we have developed a unifying logo (lock-up) you can use on your collateral and platforms. We like as many providers as possible to use this logo so we’ve loaded it to our shared Dropbox. Please use the artwork and also share it with your networks, along with the following message:
Encouraging healthy behaviours this winter
As you know, winter is a peak time for respiratory illnesses and with COVID-19 still circulating, and the borders reopening, we may see a surge on the health and disability system during the next few months. Across the Ministry and the health sector, we’re working to ensure a co-ordinated approach to communications pre-winter, winter and post winter. There is a lot of good work happening in communities around New Zealand and we’re keen to raise awareness of this.
To this end, we have created a unifying logo (lock-up) for use across range of collateral and platforms, and we invite you to apply it to your winter wellness promotional assets. There are two versions of the lock-up to use in various formats (the primary one is the main one to use) and we have included placement guidelines – Dropbox - NIP – Vaccine resources for health professionals - Simplify your life.
A message bank is being developed for public-facing winter wellness messaging. This will be available shortly.
Flu stats by DHB soon to be published on Ministry website
Also, just a ‘heads up’ that we are preparing to publish flu vaccination rates by DHB on our website. Your immunisation ops leads know about this, but we wanted to make sure you were aware, in case you receive media queries about how you’re tracking.
As always, please feel free to reach out to angela.paul@health.govt.nz or myself if you have any questions.
Ngā mihi nui,
Sandy
